Added by the October 2026 reveal

The October 10, 2026 trailer cycle expanded the confirmed list. IGN's coverage added: Alix Wilton Regan as the female player character (a Mass Effect and Dragon Age veteran), plus Rhona Mitra, Eleanor Tomlinson, Harry Treadaway, Danny Huston, Jonathan Bailey, Damson Idris, and Jane Perry. Character assignments for these additions have not all been detailed publicly.

What performance capture means here

CIG has stressed that the cast's performances are woven into gameplay, not just cutscenes — facial scans, wrinkle and blood-flow maps, and one-to-one rigs drive real-time characters. The CitizenCon 2954 gameplay reveal shows the result in motion: crew members with distinct deliveries, conversation systems, and cinematic moments rendered in-engine.

Where to go deeper

We have dedicated pages for the two cast members with the deepest histories with Chris Roberts: Mark Hamill (returning from Wing Commander III/IV) and Henry Cavill (a self-described PC gamer whose family approached CIG). For the ships this cast serves on, see the Idris frigate guide.

Cast list cross-checked against the community wiki's sourced table, the official RSI page, and October 2026 reveal coverage (IGN, Polygon) on 2026-10-12. Character details come from official material only.
